Our Methods

We utilize a combination of equipment weight loaded through gravity, springs, tubes or bands applying safe loads for mind/body training. This type of training provides rapid transformation due to the mind’s continual recalculation and recalibration of movement patterns.

General Studio Policies

  • Please do not handle any equipment or exercise in the studio without an instructor at your side or instructor approval.

  • Safety and injury prevention are the essence of the methods practiced in Studio. Our intent is to create awareness and minimize danger. Please always practice mindful movement while in studio and honor safety practices. 

  • Enter the Studio ready to get the most out of your session and have fun.

  • Please keep your voices to a low volume during classes.

  • Please keep your cell phone on silent or vibrate.

  • Attire:

    • Dress in appropriate workout attire – comfortable, but fitted (not loose or baggy) clothing. Layers are recommended. 

    • Modest dress is desired for studio due to the movement you will be doing. If wearing shorts, both genders should wear a fitted pair of shorts of modest length.

    • Do not wear clothing with exposed zippers or metal fasteners/decorations as these can tear the upholstery on the apparatus and get caught in the springs.

    • Please avoid wearing jewelry – bracelets, necklaces, large earrings, large rings – as they can get caught in the springs and straps and cause upholstery tears.

    • Prior to session refrain from using heavy lotions, creams, oils– as it increases the risk of slipping and can cause damage to the upholstery.

    • Allergy and asthma friendly, please do not wear perfume or heavily fragrant scents. Clothes should be free of dirt, lint, pet hair and dander. 

    • Please do not wear street or outdoor use shoes into the studio – clean, indoor-use shoes only. We recommend having a designated pair of good fitting athletic or minimalist style shoes for studio use only. Shoes must be off when using Pilates Apparatus. For CoreAlign and TRX use shoes may be worn.  

    • Hair should be worn clipped or tied for safety and to allow instructor to see body alignment.

Attendance, Booking and Billing Policies:

  • In order for us to provide excellent service, it is important that you honor the cancelation policy. Our request is that you give 24 hour notification for private session cancellation and 12 hour notification of cancelation for group sessions. If there is insufficient notice, you will be charged for the session or a $10.00 group studio fee applied. Please text to cancel sessions, even if you had told instructor…please text.

  • All sessions and classes are by reservation only.

  • Please be on time for sessions. Your session begins at contracted start time. We recommend you come early to do pre-movement preparation. 

  • Consistency of practice is crucial for many reasons. Inconsistent attendance for standing appointments may result in the loss of your regular appointment time. 

  • Payment must be rendered at or before time of service. Checks preferred.

  • Packages have expiration dates all unused sessions are forfeited.There are no refunds, transfers, extensions or holds of packages. You have maximum of 6 weeks to use a 5 session package and 11 weeks to use a 10 session package. If you do not make it into the studio for three consecutive weeks, you are inactive and services will expire during that time and re-activation fees may be applied. Please let the studio owner know of any extended absences or illness that may keep you from attending. 

  • Placement and Progression for Group Classes and Monthly Membership:

    • In order to receive membership pricing: 

      • You must be placed in a group by one of our Instructors.

      • Approval for group participation is required.

      • In order to provide consistency for your practice, we will have group class even if there is only one participant. In the event that there is only one participant the session will become a 30 minute private session. 

      • If you do not show for a class that you have reserved, you will be charged a $10.00 group studio fee. To avoid this fee, cancel your online reservation with in 12 hour prior to class. Members will have one fees waved prior to being assessed fee.

      • Payments should be made by check in studio. Monthly Membership is due by the 5th of each month. If you join mid-month your first month will be pro-rated. 

      • The 3 Month Membership rate is on honor system and membership renews January, April, July, October. You will be responsible for paying each month or if you prefer you can pay for 3 months at a time. This is a system set up for committed clients. To participate you will need to sign a contract. 

      • Membership rates are discounted to benefit committed clients. No additional discounts will be given for absence from the studio due to travels or illness (unless extenuating circumstances approved by the studio owner). If you plan to attend 6x a month membership is a great value and the most cost effective route.
